KenKen China
Junior championships in Ningbo and the country's first international open in Fuzhou.
KenKen reached China in 2018 and found a natural home in the country's puzzle community, growing through Sudoku associations and training centres in Fujian and Zhejiang.
Fast results
At the 2019 International Championship in New York, three Chinese junior competitors all finished in the top four of the under-16 group. Robert Fuhrer, Chairman of the Federation, has said he hopes to bring the world championship to China one day.

Ningbo and Fuzhou
Ningbo 3C Sudoku, the appointed KenKen training centre for Zhejiang Province, held a junior championship at Cheese Park in Ningbo in August 2022 for players under 16, on grids from 5x5 to 8x8.
In October 2024 the Fujian Provincial Commission for Promotion of Sudoku hosted the KenKen (Fuzhou) Open Championship, the country's first international KenKen event, with mixed rounds on grids from 4x4 to 9x9 and age groups from 8 to over 60.
