KenKen India
A five-level national championship running in 15 states.
India runs one of the largest KenKen programs in the world. Students start at their own school and climb through city, state and national rounds, with the best earning a place at the International Championship.
How the season works
The championship is played at five levels: School, City, State, National and International. Students from Grade 3 to Grade 12 take part, and national finals have been held in Mumbai.
Omnisoft Technologies, based in Vadodara, Gujarat, is the official partner for the KenKen International Championship in India, with rounds running across 15 states.

Results on the world stage
In 2015 more than 35,000 students from 24 cities sat the national round, and the five finalists travelled to New York. A year later 75,000 students took part, and eight-year-old Gaurav Pandey, one of the five who qualified for New York, beat competitors up to twice his age.
In 2019 Satvik Verma, a Grade 9 student at Dr. Pillai Global Academy in New Panvel, won silver at the International Championship in New York.
